Cause Description:
Self esteem is the foundation for success in life. How someone feels about themself has everything to do with the choices they make. Through our program people learn the tools to become socially and economically successful by first learning to develop a sense of self worth and then how to apply this understanding to setting and achieving goals, positive communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, relationship dynamics, coping with change and stress and managing school and home. This is a central self esteem issue people struggle with who were on drugs, who stayed in abusive relationships and who once committed crimes and were sent to prison. Therefore, we target our programs to help people who have been affected by these issues.
