Established in 1989, Dorchester CARES is a community-driven coalition of over 20 organizations and individuals in the Dorchester community. Our mission is to coordinate, develop, and institutionalize comprehensive, community-based programs that will support families and prevent child abuse and neglect in target neighborhoods. To achieve this mission, we bring together all interested individuals and organizations in order to strengthen families and build more supportive communities. Together, our partners have created a strong continuum of services known as our Circle of Caring which provides supportive services to families with children from birth to adulthood.
