Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Public Charter School(KIMA)serves students grades 9-12 throughout Washington, D.C. Our mission is to provide a challenging and stimulating academic course of study for college and career bound adolescents with a particular interest on literary arts, social research, outdoor education and cultural exploration. KIMA is currently conducting a Capital Campaign to establish a permanent school facility in Washington, D.C. KIMA achievements include a 94% graduation rate, an award winning debate team, a nationally recognized environmental studies program, field exploration throughout the east coast and Africa, and some of the highest school-wide test scores among DCPS Charter Schools. More than 95% of KIMA's graduates have gone on to colleges throughout the country.
