The Mason County Animal Welfare League runs a small rural shelter in West Virginia, with a HUGE goal: to bring the shelter from a gassing shelter to a no-kill non-profit organization (501c3 paperwork is in progress). In the past year and a half, over 1200 animals have been saved through the extraordinary efforts of the shelter's staff, but they are severely underfunded and need as much help as possible to arrange rescues and transports of needy pets to forever homes and rescues.
