Founded in 1875, Thornwell Home & School for Children is a non-profit organization and a ministry of the Presbyterian Churches (PCUSA) in SC, GA, and FL. Thornwell is a welcoming haven for children and youth whose lives have been shattered by abuse, neglect, abandonment, and other forms of tragedy. Our continuing ministry is to restore nurturing relationships to these children and their families, and provide every child the opportunity to live life to its fullest.
