The Davis County Sheriff Search & Rescue, established more than 40 years ago, exists to provide the citizens of Davis County with professional search & rescue services free of charge 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Each year this 35-member team donates thousands of hours to provide these professional services without consideration for personal monetary compensation or reward. This is a significant effort. It often requires that volunteers sacrifice personal interests, time and equipment to perform seemingly impossible and often dangerous tasks. Tax-deductible funds raised by this organization are used to purchase equipment and training to support this very worthy cause.
