The mission of this organization is to promote the catahoula and catahoula mixes for the right people; to assist different organizations, sanctuaries, groups and individuals in the rescue and placement of abused, neglected, abandoned or unwanted catahoula dogs; to educate the general public as to the true nature and characteristics of the catahoula breed; to promote good health and welfare for the catahoula pet and working dog; to help to bridge the gap between the companion catahoula and the working dog; and to teach the importance of spaying and neutering.
