INITIATIVE BALLOT SUMMARY:Workers deserve to be informed of employers' insolvency in order to access employment stability and plan prudent personal or family monetary expenditures. Creditors, stockholders, and ALL WORKERS deserve bankruptcy notice. Without notification, workers could also fall into personal bankruptcy. This measure would mandate that all businesses (sole proprietorships and corporations) be required to notify all workers (employees and contracted labor) as creditors, along with all other entities, when they file any form of bankruptcy.
