AARF is governed by a volunteer board of directors. As an organization it is supported by dozens of volunteers who work endlessly to implement the mission of the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation. AARF was organized in 1995 as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization to provide safe, loving, and appropriate homes for homeless cats and dogs.
