The Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County works to reduce cultural, linguistic and financial barriers to health care for low-income women and children. Our "Healthy Start" program provides bilingual and bicultural prenatal home visiting and health education at 5 community-based sites in Chester County (Pennsylvania). Other programs include: coordination of a countywide health insurance enrollment initiative, prenatal and parenting education, medical interpreting and training for health care providers.
