Cause Description:
Esperanza grants small business loans to some of the poorest people in the Dominican Republic. Whith profits from small businesses started from the micro-loans, parents provide their children with adequate food, clean drinking water, school supplies, education, improved housing and health care. Eaperanza operates a clinic that provides health care, dental care and health education to families in the lending program. For these families it is their first opportunity ever for health care. Esperanza also provides vocational education and training to borrowers and their families.
