Kids Helping Horses Foundation, Inc.

Tecumseh, Kansas

Cause Description:
The Kids Helping Horses Foundation exists to offer, through diverse educational services and programs, assistance to animals in crisis and children who are disadvantaged or who might not normally be able to enjoy the equine experience. We provide rehabilitative care, including shelter, food, and medical care to horses that have been abused or malnourished, and a new home for horses that have been abandoned by their previous owners. Some of our rehabilitated horses go on to provide beginning riding opportunities for disadvantaged children and educational opportunities for community groups such as Big Brother, Big Sisters; Camp Fire USA’; The Villages; The Odyssey Group; Topeka Rescue Mission; and Boys & Girls Club of Topeka. KHHF is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) foundation funded entirely through donations and fundraising projects such as horse camps/clinics. Your donation will help supply the hay, grain, veterinary attention and other equine supplies needed to rehabilitate these deserving, gentle animals, and to provide them with a clean and safe environment.
