MPR consists of a small network of foster homes and local boarding in Kansas City, Missouri. We are a nonprofit organization operated exclusively by volunteers. MPR is licensed with the state of Missouri and can rescue dogs from shelters that don't adopt out Pit Bulls to the public. MPR only takes a few dogs at a time as space is very limited. We believe quality is more important than quantity and we keep the dogs as long as it takes to find their perfect home.
