Community Links High School is a small school within an elementary school. It opened the fall of 2003 with 33 1st year students. They are part of a unique, pre-k through high school initiative at the Spry School. The school will operate a year-round calendar and students will graduate in 3 years with a post-secondary focus. The school follows a rigorous & stimumlating service learning curriculum which is aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards. The school is located in the Little Village Community where most of its residents are of Mexican origen. The student population has a 95% poverty level based on the number of students applying for free and reduced lunch under the federal assisted program.
