Each year more than 15,000 animals are killed in Kansas City area shelters. Most are healthy pets. No More Homeless Pets KC is building a cooperative effort to transform the greater Kansas City area into a No Kill Community by 2012. How will be get there? 1. Create awareness of the issues 2. Provide high volume, high quality, low cost spay/neuter 3. Advocate TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) for feral/free roaming cats 4. Promote adoption from local shelters and rescue groups
