Christian Reformed Home Missions

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Cause Description:
Home Missions provides leadership assistance for evangelism and discipleship to 47 classes and nearly 1,000 Christian Reformed churches in Canada and the United States. Home Missions supports and encourages the planting of approximately 20 new churches each year with emphasis placed on planting churches in a wide variety of ethnic, high need, and other communities. The ministry also assists classes with providing leadership training for future pastors to become evangelists. Grants are provided for many Christian Reformed churches to add second staff or other outreach programming. Consulting services are offered for those churches wishing to improve their spiritual health and expand outreach ministry, as well as assisting with developing small group communities and a variety of materials for programs like Coffee Break/Story Hour and Men’s Life. Additionally, Home Missions provides funding assistance to 24 campus ministries across Canada and the United States. With your generous assistance, Home Missions supports a wide variety of exciting and diverse outreaching ministries that touch lives with the love of Christ.
