Our mission is: To provide comprehensive reproductive and primary health care services; To provide educational programs; To advocate public policies that guarantee individual rights, dignity and privacy; and To promote health care research. PPGG's service area includes Alameda, Marin, Mendocino, San Francisco, San Mateo and Sonoma Counties. Planned Parenthood Golden Gate remains committed to delivering the highest quality reproductive and primary health care services, responsible and age appropriate sexuality education and to diligently protect a woman's right to choose. The majority of our services are provided regardless of a client's ability to pay and regardless of their immigration status, making our care accessible to all who need it. During 2000, PPGG served 2,500 teens through our Teen Clinics, a designated period of time alloted for teens only, during which a local teenager may access medical services or speak to a PPGG Community Health Educator. During 2001, PPGG launched an official website which provides access to accurate information and enables visitors to make online appointments as well as get fee quotes for the services we offer.
