Can’t make sense of this sentence? Welcome to the world of the dyslexic reader. Children with dyslexia often transpose letters and scramble words and sentences. Letters and words may appear blurred or doubles or may not be seen at all. Triad Academy is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) school offering individualized instruction for students in grades 1-12 with Dyslexia or a Specific Learning Disability. Triad Academy students have outstanding educational potential and normal IQ level, but need alternative approaches to conventional education. The school employs a highly trained staff of professional educators who use a variety of research-validated teaching methods, such as the Orton-Gillingham reading remediation approach, to teach basic academic skills. New concepts are presented through a multi-sensory approach-one combining sight, sound and movement
