Its mission is to conserve the Galápagos Islands by empowering local residents through educational programs and environmental action projects. NEGF’s program offering consists of educational programs and environmental action projects, including foreign language training, and art, communications, and environmental education programs, that empower local residents with the skills and awareness needed for the long-term conservation of the Galápagos, while simultaneously providing human and social development opportunities that enable them to benefit from conservation.
