Cause Description:
Bonham Community Ministries was established as a collective of member churches donating into one organization for Fannin County, Texas. Was established in the 1980;s as primarily a food pantry. Since its 501 C 3 status and Incorporation in 1993, the ministries has expanded to other programs.These programs are: utility assistance, medicatons on an emergency basis for the chronically ill,elderly and disabled; Teddy Bear Program for hospitalized children; better nutrition and variety of foods provided by nationally acclaimed food banks;A bicycle program;food application and delivery for those not able to get to our office; Garden Program - with vegtables and fruits being grown for people of Fannin County;Garden Program II - A community action project with more fruits and vegetables;Dairy Supplement Program;Mikes Bikes Program - providing bikes to all who want them ( used and repaired). Emmergent Clothing Program; and establishment of programs on an as needed basis.
