Our mission is to support the human spirit by building connections between people and the natural world. For 25 years, Animals As Intermediaries (AAI) has brought nature-based programs to elders, people with disabilities and youth-at-risk. Our professional staff and volunteers transport natural materials and animals—from therapy dogs to rehabilitated owls—indoors: to hospital schools, special needs facilities and nursing homes. With a one-on-one, hands-on approach, we connect youth and elders with nature’s capacity to heal and to teach. Your donation directly supports program delivery.
