Since our incorporation in 1892, our mission has evolved to meet community needs. Today our shelter services over 3,000 companion animals each year. We provide adoption, cruelty to animal investigations, education, euthanasia & cremation, animal transport and shelter care services. For over a century The Humane Society--Board of Directors, Staff, and Donors-- have reached out with kindness to animals who were without government or private care. Forgotten by their owners...but never by the members of The Humane Society, The animals in our care benefit from your human kindness.
