Cause Description:
The Carroll County Humane Society is a NO-KILL Animal Shelter in McKenzie, West Tennessee. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, with funding coming entirely from private contributions. We care for approximately 250 animals at one time in a building we've purchased and in foster homes. Our goal is to utilize Adoption and Spay/Neuter as our community's animal population control - not euthanasia. We hope to insure that all companion animals have a warm, safe, loving home and to assist and educate the public about proper pet care. We also give shelter to abused animals while assisting law enforcement to prosecute their abusers.
