The Dakin AnimalShelter is a non-traditional, long-term care animal shelter serving the Pioneer Valley region of Western Massachusetts. Saving and finding adoptive homes for cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs is only part of our mission. We also provide financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries as well as operating the only free spay/neuter trap/neuter/return program for feral cats in Western Massachusetts.
