Cause Description:
Technology Training Foundation of America takes in donated computer equipment and through its wonderful refurbishment partners at the California Department of Corrections, California Youth Authority, the Naval Consolidated Brig at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station and city and community college programs, offers vocational students exposure to a wide variety of computer hardware and opportunities to train with real-life troubleshooting exercises to provide them the skills to compete in the workforce. The refurbished computers that can be brought up to school technology standards are then donated free of charge, providing students with the necessary tools to be able to compete in our technological world. The computer equipment that cannot be repaired or upgraded, and other non-technology donations, are recycled, keeping it out of our over-crowed landfills.
