The Promoting Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a non-profit, charitible organization. Recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Dedicated to reducing the abuse, overpopulation, and euthanasia of animals in the Greater Muskogee Area. The society is governed by a Board of Directors who are unpaid volunteers. It is supported entirely by memberships and donations. It is not funded by the City of Muskogee or any other level of government, nor is it affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations. Come by and see us at our new no-kill shelter at 4321 East Hayes in Muskogee, Oklahoma (between Gibson and Chandler on the Muskogee Turnpike).
