Established in 1971, Open Meadow Alternative Schools serves students in Portland, Oregon for whom traditional school programs proved to be ineffectual. Open Meadow serves students ages 10 - 21 in three programs: Open Meadow Middle School, Open Meadow High School, and Corps Restoring the Urban Environment. Open Meadow students work to earn credit toward their high school diploma and Certificate of Initial Mastery; Open Meadow is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
