The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to raise funds to benefit children’s hospitals and organizations; and to educate the public regarding the place of railroad cars in history, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Funds raised are donated to children’s hospitals for the purchase of specific medical equipment.
