Cause Description:
Mission To encourage African American Employees to pool human and financial resources to enhance their professional, educational, economical and cultural opportunities within AT&T and the African American community. Goal Develop a climate that supports all employees in realizing their full potential, thereby making AT&T a more successful enterprise and a wholesome place to work. Primary Focus Provide a system for mutual support and self-help for employees who have not been included in the traditional networks and support systems required for career advancement and professional success. Belief The more successful The Alliance is, the better off AT&T is. What The Alliance does to make the work environment more accommodating to the needs of African American employees results in a more accommodating environment for all employees. The Alliance helps to optimize the AT&T work environment.
