Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

Hood River, Oregon

Cause Description:
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a vital, active, and loving community of God's children called by the Holy Spirit to enthusiastically proclaim, learn, and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will serve our congregation, the Mid-Columbia community, and the world through: intentional outreach that brings the Gospel to those who haven't heard it and ministers to human needs; inspirational worship where God's love and grace are experienced in word, sacrament, fellowship, and song; diverse learning opportunities that mentor and coach children, youth, and adults in their discipleship journey; and nurturing fellowship that provides a forum for significant relationships. We are a growing, effective ministry seeking to reach the area's population majority of young adults who either search for, haven't known of, or have turned away from a deeper, more meaningful, more tangible way to worship and to know God. We've only just begun in this growth and need all the resources and help of all of God's people in order to fulfill this call.
