Cause Description:
In memory of our 5-yr-old son, Keaton, who lost his battle with neuroblastoma (childhood cancer of the nervous system) in Feb. 98', we've created a local nonprofit org. that assists children & their families in their fight against childhood cancer in the Northern Ca area. Major areas of focus are; Family Grant Program (to N. California families), Patient Support Programs to N. California hospitals Pediatric Oncology Dept's (pediatric pain management, bereavement services, social services, etc.), Education/Awareness programs nationally (Gold Ribbon Campaigns, childhood cancer materials, community events & developing partnerships with org's and businesses to further assist kids in their fight). Childhood cancer is the #1 disease related killer of children under the age of 15 years! Our goal... until a cure is found for ALL types of childhood cancer, we will be a voice for all of our "Little Heros" through our service to families in Northern California.
