Cause Description:
Born in 1961, LFA is a project of the Arizona Lions clubs. It provides physical facilities to organizations serving the blind, deaf and handicapped. It gives the disabled an opportuntity to access a variety of services at a single location. Of 15 organizations and programs at LFA, four are pure Lions facilities: Lions Camp Tatiyee provides summer camp experiences to physically handicapped children/adults. Lions Sight and Hearing provides services to low income children/adults without medical coverage. Lions Vision Center is an optometric clinic offering eye exams and glasses to low income adults/children. Lions Information Bureau provides the community information regarding available services for those in need.
