Cause Description:
The mission of Recycled Critter Rescue is to rescue homeless, abandoned, abused and lost cats and dogs in the Denver metro area. This objective is partially accomplished by taking in unwanted pets or strays; however, most of the emphasis is on rescuing animals from shelters before they are euthanized. After being examined, treated for illness, given appropriate vaccinations and spayed or neutered, the animals are adopted out to good homes through PetSmart stores. A non-profit organization, Recycled Critter Rescue is run solely by volunteers and funded through donations, adoptions and grants. One hundred percent of all contributions, monetary or otherwise, will be used toward the rescue of animals.
