The Animal Assistance League of Orange County is a non-profit humane organization to aid lost and abandoned animals through adoption and medical assistance, to aid people with animal-related problems, to promote humane education, and to prevent cruelty to animals. Its activities include operation of a no-kill shelter for the care and adoption of abandoned animals; a helpline that provides lost/found services, humane education, and help with other animal related problems; a spay/neuter assistance and referral program; a pet aid program to assist with veterinary bills; and humane education and outreach.
