Cause Description:
In Januaary 1992, Therapeutic Horse Riding Instruction of Lawrence, Inc. THRIL, started as a volunteer effort to introduce children and adults with disabilities to the physical and emotional benefits of riding. What began with a few interested individuals has grown. THRIL was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation. Board members began to attend North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA) meetings and made commitment to maintain the safety standards set by NAHRA for certification. THRIL began to offer riding lessons to the public in May of 1993. All physically, mentally, or emotionally handicapped students are eligible for THRIL
