Cause Description:
Friends of Wildwood PTO is a not-for-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers from diverse backgrounds and experiences and exists for the sole purpose of raising funds for Chicago's Wildwood IB World Magnet School. Our goal is to enrich the educational experience for all Wildwood students in grades K-8. Funds raised by FOW-PTO are used to build, supplement, maintain, and expand educational and enrichment programs that cannot be funded or sustained from money allocated by Chicago Public Schools. In addition, the FOW PTO hosts community engagement events for Wildwood which include the annual Holiday Market, Barnes & Noble Book Bash, Annual Fine Arts Showcase, Teacher Appreciation Week, and International Night.
