CASA of Jefferson & Gilpin Counties recruits, screens, trains and supervises community CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)volunteers who speak up for abused, neglected or abandoned children in Jefferson and Gilpin Counties. Our purpose is to work with these children, the court system and social services to ensure that the needs of these children are met and that their voices are heard. CASA is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
