i.c.stars provides opportunities for inner-city young adults to harness the strength of the Internet economy for social and economic empowerment. By integrating technology training and leadership development, i.c.stars is shaping the next generation of Internet professionals. i.c.stars core mission is to break the generational cycle of poverty that limits the ability of young people to participate in the economic growth of the Illinois Community. By bridging the needs of industry to bright capable inner city residents, i.c.stars can add value to the lives of young adults as well as its industry partners. By investing in the long-term success of i.c.stars graduates, we can enhance the capacities of communities and businesses to better serve all of its citizens.
