Transplant Recipients International Organization is an orgnaization of chapters and individuals committed to improving the quality of life of transplant candidates, recipients, their families, living related donors, and the families of organ and tisue donors. TRIO serves its members through: *Awareness -promoting organ and tissue donation as an important social responsibility. *Support - providing support to transplant candidates, recipients, their families and donor family members. *Education - educating ourselves on developments in organ and tissue donation, transplantation, medication, social issues and finances. *Advocacy - working with federal, state and local government bodies to resolve the issues that affect the welfare of our members.
