Cause Description:
IHNGB shelters homeless families. Through the cooperation of area congregations, famlies with children are provided with food, shelter and compassion as they regain their independence. Once the families are settled into their housing, IHN offers family mentoring through their "Keep on Caring" follow up to address the issues which led the family to the point of homlessness in the past. We are a 501(c)3 agency and we rely on individual donations and foundation grants. Our staff numbers at 3 but our volunteers number at 1,700. We pair the good hearts with folks who need a little help.
