Cause Description:
The National Disability Sports Alliance (NDSA) is the coordinating body for competitive sports for individuals with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries and survivors of strokes. NDSA was originally formed in 1987 as the United States Cerebral Palsy Athletic Association and that remains the legal, corporate name for the organization. As the coordinating body for cerebral palsy sports, NDSA formulates the rules,implements policies and procedures, conducts national championships in boccia, bowling, cycling, equestrian, powerlifting, soccer, swimming, track and field, and wheelchair soccer. In addition, USCPAA selects the athletes to represent the United States in certain international competitions. NDSA is a duly registered, "DBA" (Doing Business As_ of the United States Cerebral Palsy Athletic Association, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.
