Bright Promises Foundation is the only independent, public foundation in Illinois solely dedicated to funding programs for children. Since 1869, the Bright Promises Foundation (BPF), formerly known as the Illinois Humane Society, has been dedicated to providing a voice and assistance to those who need society's protection most. Bright Promises Foundation serves at-risk Illinois children by creating real opportunities for all children to have a bright future. We create these opportunities by finding solutions to important emerging issues and making strategic investments in organizations that are doing trail-blazing work for children.
